Gleegl Private Limited ("Syncc," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your information through the Syncc mobile application and website. By using Syncc, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

To provide the core Syncc experience, we process the following categories of data:

• Identity Data: Name, verified phone number, date of birth, and gender. Required for account creation and age verification.
• Social Login Data: If you register via Google, Apple, or Facebook, we receive your name and email address from that provider. We do not receive your social media passwords.
• Location Data: Precise geolocation is used to power Heart Syncc proximity alerts. Location is only active when you have the app open and have enabled the feature. Your exact coordinates are never shared publicly.
• Outfit & Visual Data: Photos and outfit descriptions you submit for Style Syncc AI matching. These are used solely to facilitate the outfit identification feature and are not shared with third parties.
• Profile Information: Photos, bio, interests, and preferences you choose to add to your profile.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system, and a unique device identifier used to manage your session and prevent fraud.
• Usage Data: App interactions, feature usage patterns, and crash reports used to improve the platform.
• Push Notification Tokens: Used to deliver proximity alerts and in-app notifications via OneSignal. You can opt out at any time from your device notification settings.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To operate and deliver the Heart Syncc, Style Syncc, and Secret Crush features
• To authenticate your identity and prevent fake accounts
• To send proximity alerts and notifications relevant to your activity
• To improve platform performance, fix bugs, and enhance user experience
• To comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to any third party. We do not use your data for targeted advertising.

4. Data Sharing

We share your data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: Trusted third-party providers (Firebase, OneSignal) that help us operate the platform under strict data processing agreements.
• Legal Compliance: Where required by law, court order, or government authority.
• Safety: Where disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of our users or the public.

5. Data Retention

Your proximity traces are purged within 15 minutes of inactivity. We do not maintain a permanent historical log of your precise physical coordinates beyond the active session.

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent for location access at any time via your device settings
• Opt out of push notifications at any time

7. Children's Privacy

Syncc is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has registered on our platform, please contact us immediately at support@syncc.in and we will take immediate action to remove the account.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will revise the Last Updated date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify users via in-app notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
